As we know that Eid Al Adha is coming in less than two months and at this special moment, residents will get a long holiday to enjoy with families and friends.
Eid Al Adha will fall on Saturday, July 9, 2022 stated by Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the Emirates Astronomical Society, Ibrahim Al Jarwan.
Holiday in UAE will be four days and it will start from Friday, July 8 2022 till Monday, July 11 2022. These dates are based on the UAE’s approved holiday calendar and It is subject to confirmation by moon-sighting.
Why will the holiday start on Friday, July 8 2022 and end on Monday, July 2022? It is because on Friday, July 8 is Arafat day, which is the most important and holiest day in the Islamic calendar. The second day of the Hajj pilgrimage, and the day after is the first day of the major Islamic holiday of Eid Al Adha.
Residents expected to resume the work on Tuesday, July 12 2022.
