Maintaining your body temperature is important if you are going outdoors during Summer. Foods that help cool down our body temperature such as Watermelon, Coconut water, cucumber  are some of the highest water content foods.  It is also rich in antioxidants that keep the body cool. Green leafy vegetables (spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, lettuce, cabbage, etc.) These vegetables have a very high water content and are packed with nutrients.

  • Stay inside during peak sun hours

There is a time where the sun is strongest, that is between 11 am to 3 pm. So if it is possible for you to stay inside then it would be better for you to stay to avoid sun heat outside.

  • Close your curtains during the day

If you're inside during the day and the sun hits your windows, try to keep your curtains closed to prevent the inside of your house from overheating.

Using sunscreen is important to keep your skin well-protected, cool and can also prevent heat exhaustion. Besides that, sunscreen also will help to cover all kinds of damaging rays, which can increase skin cancer and early ageing signs.
